Recently had to have root canal work done. Before attending the appointment, several work colleagues commented along the lines of “oh dear, not nice”  & “rather you than me”. The fact that I was drifting of to sleep whilst the procedure was ongoing, speaks volumes on how good the dental care was administered.
Here I can only award 5 stars, when I really wanted to award double or treble that amount.

This may come as a surprise to receive this e-mail but as I approach the 8 year point since you so professionally re-engineered the bridge covering the front of my top jaw I thought you would wish to know that it remains in situ and there has not been a single incidence of movement or looseness. It remains as good as the day you completed my dentistry.

This achievement clearly demonstrates the great care and professionalism that you applied to your work for which I continue to be ever grateful.

I recently became a patient at the Briars because of a recommendation from a friend. I was seeing an NHS dentist previously but my teeth were deteriorating to the extent that for the last 10 years I could no longer laugh without putting my hand in front of my face to hide my embarrassment at the condition of my smile, and it really effected my confidence.

Then I met Nick and his assistant Sarah, who got on with the job of fixing my smile line and teeth. I am really thrilled with the result so far, so much so that I shall press ahead with further treatment Nick has suggested and complete the job with some implants!

What I really like about the Briars is that from the moment you step into the practice and are greeted by the ladies on reception, to the way Nick just gets on with the job in hand and the professionalism he displays, to sorting the finances out with Linda everyone is so pleasant, warm and friendly. At my last visit you asked me if I would let you have my feelings on the sedation technique used during my recent visit and I am very happy to do so as it may help other people who are as nervous as me. As I told you, it was brilliant. It just felt like I had fallen asleep for a couple of hours and I can honestly say that I felt no pain at all during the RCT. I do vaguely remember having an x-ray taken and being asked to bite together at the end but apart from that I was blissfully unaware of anything. For someone like me who gets extremely anxious in the dentists chair, it was definitely the right choice and I would be more than happy to have it again should I need similar treatment in the future. Id also just like to add that everyone involved that afternoon was very understanding and patient thank you all very much!”
