Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist
We are an established private practice and are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our successful team.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate good organisational skills in addition to excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high standards of customer service and computer literacy are essential.
Dental Nurse Duties: work closely with the clinicians, providing assistance throughout a patient’s visit. Assisting the dentist with a wide range of procedures from preparing the various materials required and ensuring the proper instruments and equipment are available, to cleaning and sterilising the used instruments , processing radiographs and stock control.
Reception Duties: include dealing with patients on the telephone and in person, appointment scheduling, fee collection, and administrative tasks. Excellent communication skills, high standards of customer service and computer literacy are essential.
Working day: 7.45am – 5.15pm (days to be discussed at Interview)
Essential requirements: Must be a fully qualified, GDC registered dental nurse. You must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), Must have an exceptional level of patient care and customer service, up-to date CPD essential, references will be requested if successful.
Non-essential requirements: additional dental nursing qualifications such as radiography, sedation, OHI or implant nursing.
Experience as a Treatment Coordinator.

Specialist Periodontist

Centred in the heart of Newbury, the Briars is a few minutes’ walk from the train station, and just around the corner from the A339. We also offer free parking on-site for all of our patients and staff.
The successful candidate will take on a well-established Perio list and will be joining a team of 4 general dentists, 2 hygienists as well as specialists in Orthodontics & Endodontics.
Applicants must be fully qualified and GDC registered with a passion for patient care with high levels of communication skills, empathy and clinical awareness. They will also be required to complete occasion CPD evenings at the practice with referring practices to develop their patient list further.
