We look forward to welcoming you back to The Briars for your upcoming appointments.

As you might expect, there have been some changes to our policies and procedures.

We would ask that if you have a dental problem at the moment, that you please let us know. As there is still a need to reduce unnecessary travel, it is better for us to be able to address any dental problems at the same time as your scheduled appointment and we need to ensure that an appropriate length of appointment time is booked for you.

In preparation for your appointment, there are some new forms we require you fill in prior to attending including a COVID19 screening form. We ask that you read and complete the forms and return them to us prior to your appointment, this will allow us to be better prepared for your visit.


On the day of your appointment:

  • When you arrive at the practice, please call on 01635 40311 to inform us you have arrived.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment, you will be required to wait in your car or outside on the seat provided so please do not arrive too early.

    Please be aware we are experiencing very high call volumes so if you are unable to get through to reception to inform them you have arrived, please come to the front door and ring the doorbell

  • Face coverings are compulsory, so please wear a mask to your appointment, if you do not have one, you can purchase one at the practice.

  • Please do not wear gloves when attending your appointment at the practice. We ask that any gloves are correctly disposed of prior to entering, as we require all patients to sanitise their hands.

  • Following FGDP guidelines, the toilets are currently out of use, so please ensure you go to the toilet and brush your teeth before you travel to the practice.

Just before you attend appointment, you will be required to complete a new COVID19 Screening form, you may have already filled this in but we need an up to date copy on the day of your appointment to ensure there are no changes.

Please note: If you answer yes to any of the questions, we will be unable to see you for your appointment.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has been a trying time for us all, and we have really appreciated the patience you have all shown while we find our feet with our ‘new normal’.
