Order Phentermine

Overweight negatively affects both the psychological state and the overall health of the person. Due to the widespread prevalence of obesity and the severity of its consequences, numerous teams of scientists from different countries are working on the creation of drugs for the treatment of this disease. One of the best in terms of effectiveness is the drug for weight loss Phentermine. It is so effective that it is often used as an alternative to surgical liposuction.

Composition and principle of action

Phentermine is a central-acting anorexic. As an antagonist of receptors that stimulate hunger (they are located in the hypothalamus of the brain), Phentermine suppresses appetite and prolongs the period of saturation. In contrast to the related structure of amphetamine, this sympathomimetic amine does not cause a state of euphoria.

As a result of blocking AgRP neurons, which are responsible for hunger, a person loses appetite. Daily intake of food is reduced, the body gets fewer calories and to ensure that the energy needs is forced to use fat reserves. There is evidence that amine contributes to a slight increase in body temperature, which also has a positive effect on the weight loss process.

Quantifiable results. In 1968, a randomized clinical trial of the effectiveness of Phentermine for weight loss was conducted. Within 6 months, 108 women diagnosed with obesity were prescribed a low-calorie diet. Half of them took Phentermine, the second half (control group) took placebo pills containing biologically inactive substances. Patients who took anorexia reduced their weight by 13% more than the participants of the control group who were only on a hypocaloric diet.

Phentermine is available in pills and capsules of 18.75 mg and 37.5 mg. In addition to the active substance Phentermine hydrochloride, it includes auxiliary ingredients:

starch, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose (fillers);

magnesium stearate or stearic acid (lubricating oil);

baking powder silicon dioxide;

the dye is titanium dioxide.

Methods of administration

Phentermine is used for the medical treatment of alimentary obesity in combination with diet and regular exercise. Indications for taking the drug is a BMI not lower than 30, in special cases not lower than 27.

Consider this! Phentermine is a potent agent, so it should be taken under the supervision of a qualified doctor. Prescribing anorexic, calculating the dosage and duration of treatment, the doctor takes into account the cause of obesity and the general state of the patient's health. For example, if the formation of excess weight is associated with a hormonal disease or the patient has pathologies that exclude the use of sympathomimetic amines, taking this medicine may be useless or even harmful.

For optimal results, Phentermine should be taken within 1-2 hours before and between meals. It is recommended to adhere to the course of treatment all day.

The standard daily dose of the drug is 37.5 mg; that is, one capsule or pill. It is consumed at a time, without chewing or washing down water. In some cases, the desired effect is given by taking half dose-18.75 mg. The duration of the course of therapy is usually 3-4 weeks, if necessary, it can be extended to 12 weeks, but no more is permitted.

Restrictions to the reception of Phentermine are:

underage;

pregnancy and breastfeeding;

individual hypersensitivity to sympathomimetic amines or auxiliary components of this drug;

arterial hypertension of 2-3 degrees;

glaucoma;

hyperthyroidism;

glucose-galactose malabsorption;

the propensity to drug or drug addiction;

the tendency to agitation (emotional state of excitement);

taking MAO inhibitors.

Consider this! Patients taking any of the drugs that have a psychotropic effect, including Phentermine, should restrict themselves to engaging in work requiring an intense focus of swift reaction. (for example, they should refrain from driving vehicles).

Phentermine is able to give a number of side effects. The most dangerous is the development of physical and mental dependence. In structure, this sympathomimetic amine is close to the CNS stimulant amphetamine, which is characterized by the development of withdrawal syndrome. Abrupt discontinuation of medication leads to deterioration of the general state of health and dysphoria (the reverse of euphoria).
