Staff Testimonials
Every day I am happy working with such a fantastic team! What a great bunch of people, all with the same goals and moving in the same direction. Most importantly it is a massive pleasure to work with the best clinicians with whom I can fully enjoy the beauty of dentistry.

I absolutely love working for The Briars, the team we have makes it one of the best places I have worked. The partners are always happy for us to come to them with ideas with a friendly smile and no question is ever too silly. Everyone rally’s round to help each other, to make sure we all get to leave together every day and it’s like working with family rather than just colleagues.

I really enjoy working here at the briars, I started in January 2022 as a receptionist full time. I work with an incredible team who are always happy to help and support me in any way. After working on Reception, I am now training to fulfill my dream of becoming a qualified dental nurse which has always been a passion of mine. The Briars have believed in me and have given me the time and support to fulfill this opportunity. I feel the practice is very professional, caring and accommodating to all staff and patients. Would highly recommend 🙂
Mel – Receptionist
I have been working at The Briars for 5 months and have been welcomed with open arms. The team is so friendly and encouraging and everyone works together which creates a lovely environment. I’ve learned so much about dental care already which has been through support and training from the team. As the clinicians specialise in various aspects of dentistry, it makes my role more interesting and varying day to day. Seeing the patient’s journey from registering to having their perfect smile is great to be a part of.

I have worked at the Briars since 2020, and honestly it’s the only place I’ve worked where I have felt truly supported and able to progress in my career and also have been lucky enough to make some amazing friends who feel like family in the process.
Carolyn – Financial Administrator
I started working at The Briars Dental Centre 6 years ago, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. My previous job as a Dental Nurse lacked the progression I craved, and when I saw an advert going at The Briars, a practice I had admired for so long, I knew the job had to be mine. Within 6 months of starting, having made it known that I wanted to learn and grow as a nurse, I was put on a Dental Radiography course. Within a year, I was routinely taking radiographs for all clinicians in the practice. I thought it might go quiet after I achieved that qualification – some practices will invest once, and leave it there. The Briars have continued to help me grow, and alongside my radiography training, I have also been trained to take clinical photos, alginate impressions and digital scans. The Treatment Coordinator position was one that was created whilst I was nursing, and it felt like the right way forward for me. The role has been molded to fit into the unique set-up we have here at The Briars, with general dentists, specialists and therapists all working together to make each patient’s journey the best it can be. My role is very patient focused, and that is something I really love – being the start of the journey, and giving each person the time they deserve to work out the right pathway for them. My decision to join The Briars was a big one, I had trained at and stayed with my previous practice for a long time – I was comfortable, but plodding. Stepping out of my comfort zone was the best career choice I have ever made, and I will always be grateful to The Briars for what it has given me.
