Update on Hygienist Services
You may have received an email advising that your appointment may need to be canceled, however, we are pleased to advise that we are now in a position to proceed.
The guidance for dental treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic is ever-changing and we have some good news – we are now in the position to resume dental hygiene services to some of our patients.
Please be advised that the hygienist can currently only provide hand scaling and polish, while this does not change the outcome of your treatment, it does however take more time. Therefore, our appointment times will be increased accordingly.
In preparation for your appointment, can you please read and complete the attached forms and return via email as soon as possible, this will allow us to be better prepared for your visit.
If we have already contacted you to complete these forms, please disregard this email.
We will contact you before your appointment to confirm everything is in place to proceed.
I have also enclosed a copy of our practice reopening policy which outlines all the changes we have made and gives you an insight of what to expect on the day of your appointment.
In addition, If you have a dental problem at the moment, please let us know by return.
As there is still a need to reduce unnecessary travel, it is better for us to be able to address any dental problems at the same time as your scheduled appointment and we need to ensure that an appropriate length of appointment time is booked for you.
