Oral Health Care

Dear patients,

We hope you are well and keeping safe in these unprecedented times.

As you are aware, we have been temporarily unable to provide routine dental treatment or offer face to face care due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  However, the practice is not closed and you are welcome to contact us with any questions, queries or concerns that you may have. We are very grateful for your patience and forbearance during this time.

Hygiene care

While we are unable to offer direct care with our hygienists, we would like to provide you with some general oral health advice to help keep your teeth, gums and oral health in healthy condition until we can see you again:

Patients who are prescribed Duraphat by their dentist are still able to have this sent to them.  Please contact us if you have run out.

Plan Patients

Patients who are on the dental plan are splitting the cost of their dental treatment over 12 months and receiving discounted dental care. We are aware that an adjustment to the fees will be needed for patients who were unable to have their regular examination and hygiene visits during the period where routine care was restricted. These appointments will be prioritised when we are able to able to recommence routine care. However, until the practice is able to recommence routine care, we cannot calculate how much this will be.  We are grateful to our patients for maintaining their direct debits and we aim to make any reimbursements due within 1 month of the practice restarting routine care.

The dental plans offer excellent value for money. If you are not on the dental plan and would like information on how to join, please email us for further details.

Restarting routine care

As we prepare to see patients face to face again a number of further measures have been put in place to ensure that social distancing measures are followed.  We will provide further details on these closer to the time, but as a result, we anticipate that we will have a slower throughput of patients.  We will also be initially prioritising patients with urgent dental problems, so if you have a dental problem, please do let us know so we can plan the appointments books accordingly.

For dental emergencies please contact the practice by email or phone, where we can advise you on the best course of action.
